WHERE DID WE GO???????

We've heard it a lot. We dropped the "Trust and Believe - EP" and then.... we went ghost.

...
So what happened to Cross the Divide?

Well, that's complicated. BUT the super-short story is that we just needed a break.

In the months following our last tour, Chase and I (Zac, of course) underwent a lot of big life changes, and we had to reprioritize and refocus. We aren't single dudes in our late teens or 20's. I have 4 kids. Yep, 4. Chase has 1. We're both in our 30's now. We love our families, and ultimately, as much as we love music, our families come first.

There were plenty of other reasons to pump the brakes too.. In any case, the timingfelt like it sucked, and letting Cross the Divide rest for a while was a hard thing to come to terms with, but we know NOW that it was perfect timing for an abundance of reasons.

Honestly, toward the end of 2019, we were looking at going full-time touring, and making this our only gig. But, by the grace of God, our circumstances prevented that decision, and we fortunately did NOT make that jump, and thus subsequently avoided the industry crash of 2020 (thanks, coronavirus) that destroyed and effectively bankrupted many of our friends in the industry.

So, where are we now, and what's next??

Right now, we're living. We're choosing peace, goodness, kindness, thankfulness, and enjoying simplicity. We're choosing to spend our days and evenings loving those around us, just as we did when we were on the road; we're just keeping it closer to home for now.

Inevitably, we will come out with more music, but what that will be and when is really all going to be up to God's leading. We're patient. And perhaps we will trickle some gems out to you sooner than later.

Until then, we love you all. Truly.
Jesus loves you all. (Yes. ALL) Truly.
And with any luck, it won't be more than a few blinks before we're sending more crushing riffs your way.

Keep your eyes on the light, folks. And never give up hope.
